Webinar: IoT - Status quo, Opportunities & Solutions

A study shows: The Internet of Things (IoT) topic has not yet been fully reflected in the respondents' views. So how will this topic continue to develop? All results of the study will be presented in a webinar on March 15th.

A study conducted by Pierre Audoin Consultants (PAC) on behalf of Deutsche Telekom has shown: The Internet of Things (IoT) is in many places still in the discussion phase. But still: IoT is characterized by a positive expectation which is why the theme will also be the focus of the forthcoming trade fairs CeBIT and HMI (Hanover Trade Fair Industry).

Further results and topics of the study will be presented to you in a webinar:

  • Joachim Hackmann, PAC analyst and designer of the study "IoT in Production and Logistics", will discuss the results and present the opportunities of IoT.
  • Experts at Deutsche Telekom are focusing on condition monitoring and predictive maintenance.
  • Practical examples will show how companies can already benefit from digitization.

During the entire webinar the chat is open and you can ask questions, which are answered by the experts of PAC and Deutsche Telekom.

From 10:00 am until 11:00 am

Online. The webinar will be conducted in German only.

Event, 24. April 2017

200,000 visitors, 6,500 international exhibitors, 400 “Industrie 4.0” applications: the world’s leading industrial show in Hanover creates high expectations.

From April 24 to 28, seven international leading trade fairs take place at the same time: HANNOVER MESSE – better known as HMI – covers a wide range of themes and exhibits: R&D, industrial automation and IT, industrial supply, production engineering and services, as well as energy and environmental technology. The opportunity to develop new sales leads in other sectors, unique access to new products and technologies and a huge international presence attract exhibitors and visitors from all over the world.

Lead theme of the 2017’s fair is “Integrated Industry – Creating Value”. The fourth industrial revolution, it seems, is well underway. However, to ensure that the factories of the future don’t remain castles in the air, it is necessary to shine a stronger spotlight on the benefits for industry, employees and society in general. And that is precisely what HANNOVER MESSE 2017 will do. The show features over 400 application examples of fully digitalized processes for the manufacturing and energy industries.
